It’s easy to take our roads for granted. After all, they are just slabs of concrete or asphalt that help us get from Point A to Point B, right? Well, they are a bit more than that. They are essential conduits for safe, efficient transportation, economic development and opportunity growth. Good roads are essential to take our state to a more competitive, economically vibrant future. It’s the mission of the Better Roads/Better Future campaign to create awareness of Arkansans of the many benefits of good roads and bridges — from improving safety and increasing efficiency to protecting our previous investments and supporting economic growth.
